The Trust was honored to welcome the inaugural group of Lui-Walton Innovators Fellows, to Hong Kong, in June. Visiting Fellows included former President of Kirabati, Anote Tong. We were proud to hear about what the international group of Fellows accomplished in their two year programme, having worked hard to create sustainable solutions that address environmental challenges around the world. Many of the talented first round of Fellows have gone on to work with Conservation International full time, making way for the second round of Lui Walton Technical Fellows to commence their work on 1 July 2018.
Distinguished leaders and emerging talents have already been recruited for the following positions and initiatives: Sustainable Landscapes & Seascapes Fellow, Natural Capital Fellow, Citizen Science & Technology Fellow, Supply Chain Transparency & Innovation Fellow, Amazonia Indigenous & Conservation Fellow, Africa Conservation Finance Fellow, Regional Advisor & Asia Development Bank Fellow and the Climate Action Platform Fellow. We’re excited to see what they will achieve in the coming two years.
